about

I love the clarinet. I just do. And I wanted to extend the horn-focused concepts I presented on my previous album, Horns of Plenty. Bringing together leading Chicago clarinetists Edward Wilkerson Jr. and Mwata Bowden, this album explores the potential of instrumental multiplicity. With special guest string and electronic artists Jonathan Chen (violin, electronics) and Tatsu Aoki (contrabass, electronics), we navigate a sweeping range of sonic territories.
