Perspectives is Jeff Chan's fifth title on the Asian Improv Records label. The album brings together for the first time two of Chan's most longstanding collaborators - Chicago bass stalwart Tatsu Aoki and Brooklyn-based drummer Vijay Anderson. Perspectives is a wide-ranging trio session featuring a set of original compositions and improvisations with Chan traversing a broad stylistic and tonal palette on flute, clarinet and alto and tenor saxophones.
